Hoorah – a home for now and Temple visits

Amazing news this weekend.  It kicked off with Masala Dosa treat from Sushila’s family and we are getting to stay at Chris and Meha’s amazing home, whilst we find our own apartment. It’s five star treatment, with cleaners everyday, drinking water delivered and hot showers!  Dianne and I are certainly getting to know each other as we are sharing a bed, a small price to pay for the palatial abode.

The weekend was spent visiting the peaceful, Monkey Temple – Swayambhunath with Chris and Meha who had their poetry workshop there.
Today mass at the only Catholic church in Kathmandu with Carmen IMG-20140302-00182and then Patan Durber Square with Anne.  Also invited to a book launch of a Women’s Rights campaigner – if only I understood  the Nepali speeches.
The only department store – loving how they display stock to the max!
